Reverse disclaimer : I voted for Reagan the second time (too young by two weeks the first time), voted for his VP, and I served as a GOP election judge in 1988. I was a moderate conservative. I defected because of the GOP, not in spite of them.
WHY did so many Republicans getting away with so many
blatantly illegal and unethical activities? Because they swept into power
in 1994, on a ticket of "cleaning up" ethical lapses in D.C., then immediately
changed the rules to limit the filing of ethics charges. Hypocritical scum.
