O Canada

Oh, let me through customs, for chrissakes

These are just a few random shots of Canada taken while on business trips.

THIS ..... is the really cool place Ed and I stayed at in Quebec City.  Somehow I got the huge suite, and he got the itty-bitty phone booth.  It's called the Chateau Frontenac, and it sits high above the St. Lawrence River. The service and the decor are incredible.I can't wait to take my wife back there.  Going places with Ed is fun, but he'd make an ugly broad.  Um, I'm sorry, chick.

Let me also slip in a mention of the Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. Also a class act. Oh, and the Hotel Palliser in Calgary. Top notch.

This is downtown Banff, which is an hour or so west of Calgary. It's a popular resort/ski town. Unlike Jackson Hole, there's a good view in every direction. In skiing season, you can't get a room. In the spring, you can't get a room. You have to go there when it's kinda slushy.

We had a great meal in a place called, and this might be wrong, the Brown Keg. I think that's right. Gorgeous hostess. Excellent food.

This is another view just outside Banff.

Return to America, and its wealth of opinions.
